At Bulungula Incubator, our mission is to be a catalyst for the creation of vibrant and sustainable rural communities. Our approach as an ‘incubator’ is not just about initiating projects but about sharing the wealth of knowledge we have amassed over the years. This commitment extends beyond our immediate community to support other non-governmental organisations, corporate entities, and governmental institutions in designing and implementing effective solutions for rural development.

Launching the “Resilient Communities” Webinar Series

Embodying this spirit of knowledge sharing and collaboration, we are thrilled to launch the “Resilient Communities” webinar series. In each session, attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from our dedicated project managers, knowledgeable partners, and leading experts. Each webinar is created to inspire and uncover synergies for innovative solutions to build stronger, more resilient communities.

So, without further ado, we invite you to participate in our first webinar discussion! Join us to discuss with Myrna Van Pinxteren from the University of Cape Town’s Chronic Disease Initiative for Africa (CDIA) about their research findings, highlighting three comparative studies conducted in Bulungula and Cape Town. These studies focus on the experiences of treatment burden for people living with multiple chronic conditions such as HIV, hypertension, diabetes, and TB. Gain valuable insights into the healthcare landscape and contribute to discussions on improving chronic disease management in these communities.
