We are excited to announce that our Job Skills and Entrepreneurship Programme (JSEP) graduate recruitment website is LIVE! You can now browse the profiles and CVs of our graduates and connect with them directly: www.bulungulacollege.org/recruitment.
Our JSEP graduates are prepared and eager to contribute across a variety of entry-level roles. Each candidate has completed an accredited training programme, professional development courses and a one-year internship at a Bulungula Incubator project. This experience has equipped them with a combination of technical, professional, and entrepreneurial skills, along with the self-confidence and discipline that come from real workplace exposure.
The need for support is urgent and deeply impactful. Our graduates come from one of the most remote and under-resourced communities in the country. With limited tertiary options and a local unemployment rate over 90%, many are at risk of being absorbed into seasonal fruit farm labour — a common pathway for young people in our village, but one that offers little upward mobility. This is why the last phase of our programme is to connect our graduates to meaningful employment opportunities.
Why hire our JSEP graduates?
- They have completed a one-year internship under the guidance of BI managers.
- They’ve completed accredited, entrepreneurial, and professional development courses.
- We know each of our graduates well and stand behind their readiness and potential.
- By hiring one of our graduates, you play a meaningful role in achieving Bulungula Incubator’s greater goal of ending poverty in a generation in our community.
If you are not in a position to hire, you can still make a difference. We kindly ask that you share our recruitment page with your networks. The more eyes on our platform, the greater the chances these capable young professionals have to launch their careers. We appreciate your support and care!
