The BI recently received a large number of fruit trees to be planted in various locations among the Xhora Mouth Community.  The types of trees include peach, plum, and orange.  Hopefully the trees will flourish and in time provide the community members with fresh fruit and improve food security in the area.  To get things started, the first few trees were planted next to the BI office using the permaculture technique of digging deep and filling the hole with layers of compost.

Thabang gets some help layering the hole with compost material from the preschool children.

Now we patiently wait for the day we can first taste the juicy sweetness of our own home-grown fruit

With sunshine, water, and time, hopefully this little tree will one day provide delicious fruit for the BI
