Just four months after planting, all of the homestead plots are now ready for harvest! The first harvest will be limited to dry leaves, for tea flavourant. We expect to be able to harvest our first fresh stalks in August.

We met with buyers in Cape Town and presented the sample stock for them to assess quality and to provide feedback on preparation and presentation. Both buyers were very happy with the lemongrass and we received confirmed orders for the full harvest.
