We live in one of the most beautiful and fertile parts of the country where we have an opportunity to farm for food security and income generation. Therefore, one of the subjects offered at the Bulungula College is Agricultural Sciences. In addition to the theoretical curriculum, we have a strong emphasis on the development of practical farming skills. This has turned out to be a well loved activity by the Bulungula College learners who have become enthusiastic farmers! The produce is sold to the Bulungula Incubator nutrition projects and learners are able to earn money for educational and sport items, school outings or even treats that they would like to purchase. Items purchased are decided on by the learners themselves, through a collaborative process.
